Liz Macmillan Clinical Psychology is committed to providing engaging, practical and supportive therapy specifically aimed at adults dealing with a range of challenges. Working in the area for over 10 years, we aim to bring out the full potential of each client, with therapy individually focused on unique experiences and situations. Liz Macmillan Clinical Psychology is committed to providing comprehensive clinical psychological care to all individuals.
Code of Ethics
Our Psychologists are registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and therefore abide by the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics.
New Patients
All patients under the age of 18 require a parent session for the parents/guardians to see their therapist. Patients over the age of 18 can see a therapist without a parent session.

Patients are required to complete an intake form and provide personal, to engage with psychological care at Liz Macmillan Clinical Psychology.
Our Clinic
Liz Macmillan Clinical Psychology is located at Suite 5, 35 Cranbourne- Frankston Road, Langwarrin VIC 3910.

Please note, we do not allow pets to be brought into the clinic.
Payments
We take card payments onsite. Payment is expected at the time of consultation, and your Medicare Rebate (if eligible) will be processed on the day. You can expect the rebate to be deposited into your nominated bank account within 24-48 hours.
You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for 10 rebateable sessions, with a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP).
Appointments outside of these 10 sessions, are not eligible for a rebate.

If there is an outstanding amount on a client's account due to the above mentioned reasons and it has been longer than 7 days since the original appointment, future appointments will be cancelled or sent to a debt collector.
Referrals and Medicare Claiming
To receive a Medicare rebate with a psychologist clients can get a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP, if eligible.

We can claim with Medicare on behalf of patients for psychology consultations if we have received a copy of a patient's plan with a referral letter addressed to our clinic.
We do our best to monitor the amount of sessions patients have had and send reminders when patients require a MHCP review. Although the responsibility remains the patients to ensure the referral is up to date, in order to receive rebates.
Clinical Psychologist rebates for 50 minute consultations are $141.85

Private Health Insurance Claiming
We can claim with your private health insurance. We advise that you first check with your insurance company if they cover psychology.
NDIS Claiming
We can process NDIS payments. The client will see the psychologist and reception will bill direct to your NDIS plan management team. It is your responsibility to give us the details of your plan management team (i.e. company name and email).

Opening Hours
Liz Macmillan Clinical Psychology is open from Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm working with client both in person and via telehealth.

Emergencies
Liz Macmillan Clinical Psychology is not an emergency or crisis service. If you find yourself in an emergency situation, please visit your local GP or Emergency Department.
Patient Conduct
At Liz Macmillan Clinical Psychology we expect all patients and their families to treat our staff with respect and do not accept the use of inappropriate language, violent, aggressive, or offensive behaviour. If a patient does not abide by this conduct Liz Macmillan Clinical Psychology has the right to cease ongoing treatment.
Feedback and Complaints
